Job description
The Information Technology Technician provides technical support across all areas of the District's information systems, including maintaining and troubleshooting computers, servers, phones, software, and network equipment. The position works closely with staff to ensure systems operate efficiently and securely., * Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network systems

Providing first-level support to end users and resolving technical issues

Assisting with VoIP systems, mobile devices, and A/V systems

Managing user accounts, backups, and system documentation

Supporting operations with SCADA and automation systems

Maintaining inventory and assisting in equipment procurement
The ideal candidate will perform technical support functions in:

Installing, evaluating, configuring, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining computers, hardware, software, servers, networks, security systems, and related technologies and equipment

Maintaining technical operating instructions and documentation

Interacting tactfully with users and staff when providing information, answering questions, and delivering customer service

Taking initiative to learn, interpret, and apply all pertinent laws, codes, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards relevant to the work performed
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: A minimum of one year of experience providing technical support to desktop computer hardware and software systems.
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this position is $43.85/hr. to $54.64/hr.
