• 2 years (6 months w/Master's degree) experience with Systems Engineering Principles
• 2 years (6 months w/Master's degree) experience with Requirements Development or Requirement review.

Principal Systems Engineer (level 3):

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering discipline or other STEM field of study or a master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or related STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience master's degree with 3 years. PhD with 1 year.

• 3 years of experience with Systems Engineering Principles

Preferred Qualifications :

• A general understanding of Engineering Board Processes
• Experience leading projects/assignments
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) or similar
• Experience working with Cameo or similar tools
• Experience working with DOORS or similar tools
• Experience with MBSE

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer/Principal Systems Engineer to join its team in Roy, UT, Colorado Springs, CO, Bellevue, NE, Manhattan Beach, CA or Huntsville, UT and will be supporting the Sentinel Program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What you will get to do : The selected candidate will perform Power System Design technical planning and manage the PDP schedule for the Power Team. The candidate's responsibilities will also include performing CPLM Tech Lead reviews on PDPs in addition to coordination with other teams. This position is in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program.
