Job description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative GIS Manager to lead and expand our Geographic Information Systems initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the growth and development of GIS solutions within the organization, contributing to impactful community infrastructure projects., * Lead business development efforts to integrate GIS solutions across the company.

Deliver presentations on GIS solutions to clients and peers, showcasing potential applications and benefits.
Develop comprehensive business proposals, scopes of work, and other necessary reports.
Manage and monitor GIS project requests and corporate initiatives effectively.
Plan, organize, and participate in the development and implementation of innovative GIS solutions.
Provide expert guidance and technical support to team members and clients.
Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure the accuracy and reliability of GIS products and processes.
Stay informed of the latest advancements in GIS technologies and systems.
Acquire and maintain datasets from federal, state, and local entities.
Assist in publishing web services, maps, and applications using ArcGIS.
Create precise information products, including maps, reports, and electronic data deliverables.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in GIS, with proven management experience.
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, Natural Resources, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Advanced expertise in ESRI ArcGIS technology, including ArcGIS Pro, Portal, Enterprise, and Mobile.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or other coding languages.
Experience with the development and implementation of ESRI solutions.
Understanding of local municipal datasets and underground utility networks.
Familiarity with AutoCAD software operations and file formats is an advantage.
Experience in research, grant writing, and acquisition.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to effectively direct and supervise a team.
