Data Center Vendor Specialist

As Data Center Vendor Lead, you will own performance, compliance, and risk management for critical suppliers supporting the Abilene data center site. This role is the single-threaded owner for vendor execution-ensuring contracts translate into reliable outcomes that protect uptime, safety, and delivery commitments., + Own end-to-end vendor lifecycle activities, including selection, negotiation support, onboarding, performance management, and compliance enforcement.

• Track vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and safety requirements; drive corrective actions and escalate systemic issues.

• Conduct vendor risk assessments and support business continuity and contingency planning for critical services.

• Coordinate execution across site operations, engineering, procurement, finance, and legal to ensure alignment and timely resolution.

• Lead vendor performance reviews and provide clear, data-backed reporting to site and regional stakeholders.

• Experience managing critical vendors in data center, construction, utilities, or regulated enterprise environments.

• Strong contract and commercial acumen with comfort navigating complex vendor relationships.

• Working knowledge of compliance, safety, and risk management practices.
