Job description
Design, implement, and optimize advanced algorithms for signal processing, control systems, or data analysis in radar applications. Collaborate with system engineers to define algorithm requirements and validate performance in real-world scenarios. Perform testing, debugging, and documentation of algorithmic implementations to meet stringent industry standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in algorithms, signal processing, controls, or related technical fields. Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required. Strong background in algorithm development for radar applications, with a primary emphasis on signal processing (tracking experience is highly desirable but not required). Experience developing real-time or near-real-time algorithms, with the target being real-time operational environments (even if some development occurs in simulation or offline analysis). Hands-on programming experience in MATLAB and C++, including algorithm implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation to meet rigorous industry standards.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with target tracking, data fusion, or control systems in radar or sensor-based applications. CUDA or GPU acceleration experience for performance-critical algorithm implementations. Experience collaborating closely with systems engineers to define algorithm requirements and validate performance in real-world or hardware-integrated scenarios. Background in algorithm performance optimization for embedded or real-time systems. Experience supporting defense or mission-critical programs with strict verification, validation, and documentation requirements.
