Job description
We are seeking skilled and motivated Data Center Technician to support enterprise data center and server environments, including next-generation AI platforms. This is a highly hands-on, customer-facing opportunity focused on maintaining uptime, resolving complex hardware issues, and delivering exceptional on-site support., * Provide on-site support for Dell servers and data center infrastructure
- Perform server hardware maintenance including builds, swaps, and component replacements (CPU, memory, power supplies, GPUs, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across hardware, firmware, and operating systems
- Execute reactive and preventive maintenance following established procedures
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and on-site stakeholders during service events
- Accurately document service activities and contribute to knowledge-sharing
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide extended coverage as required
Requirements
- 3 5+ years of experience in field service, data center, or enterprise server support
- Strong hands-on experience with server hardware and components
- Working knowledge of Linux or similar operating systems
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-resolution capabilities
- Ability to work independently in customer environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to support and learn emerging technologies, including AI platforms, * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Dell or other OEM server certifications (preferred but not required)
- Experience in enterprise or hyperscale data center environments
