Cloud Operator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Operator to join our team in support of a long-term Air Force program. As a Cloud Operator, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of secure MS Windows/Linux network environments and limited web/data application services in cloud environments. This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our clients' systems., * Install, maintain, patch, audit, and support secure MS Windows/Linux network environments and limited web/data application services.

• Maintain configurations and deployments of COTS/GOTS applications.
• Manage file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation.
• Interface with local customers to provide IT support and resolve issues promptly.
• Attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, Program Managers, and customers as required.
• Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests.
• Create user accounts and manage software licenses.

• 1+ years of experience working with cloud systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with the A&A process using the Risk Management Framework.
• Experience supporting cloud environments, including delivering, securing, and managing container-based applications.
• 2+ years of systems administration and automation experience with Windows and/or Linux, including PowerShell and/or Bash Scripting.
• DoD 8140 Compliance with System Administrator (451) Intermediate certification.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or 2019.
• Familiarity with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• General understanding of basic networking principles.

Security Clearance:

• An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start.
• Must be willing to submit for a CI Polygraph.
