Job description

Seeking a self-motivated PHP/Drupal Engineer with strong experience in website development and portal integration, ideally with prior healthcare experience. The role involves developing, integrating, and maintaining web applications and portals that support our healthcare operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality solutions independently and collaboratively., * Design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites using PHP and Drupal.

  • Build and extend Drupal modules, themes, and custom functionality to meet business requirements.
  • Integrate portals and web applications with internal systems, third-party APIs, and external platforms.
  • Ensure applications and integrations are secure, performant, and scalable.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to translate requirements into functional solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing web applications and integrations.
  • Stay current with emerging web technologies, integration tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong PHP development experience and Drupal CMS expertise (Drupal 8/9 preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in website development using front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Proven experience in portal integration, web services, RESTful APIs, and data exchange (JSON/XML).
  • Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL optimization.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Understanding of web security standards, authentication, and authorization best practices.
  • Prior experience working in healthcare technology or regulated environments.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams., * Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with other PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel) is a plus.
  • Experience with single sign-on (SSO) or identity management integrations.
