Job description

We are seeking a Director of Operational Transformation to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that fundamentally improve how MiniMed operates. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and innovation - driving large-scale process optimization, digital transformation, and performance improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in complexity, brings disciplined program management rigor, and has a proven track record of delivering measurable business impact in Fortune 500 environments.

This is not a maintain-the-status-quo role. This is a mandate to build, scale, and transform.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Strategic Transformation Leadership

  • Architect and execute the enterprise operational transformation roadmap, aligning initiatives toMiniMed'sstrategic priorities and long-term vision
  • Partner with senior leaders acrossour commercialorganizationstoidentifyhigh-impact opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and revenue enablement

Process Excellence & Operational Performance

  • Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Gemba-based methodologies toeliminatewaste and standardize best-in-class operating models
  • Build and deploy Management Operating Systems (MOS) that drive sustained execution, governance, and accountability across functions and geographies
  • Identifyroot causes of operational inefficiencies and implement corrective actions with measurable, sustained results

Digital Transformation & AI-Enabled Innovation

  • Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to accelerate decision-making, improve forecasting accuracy, and unlock productivity gains at scale
  • Lead the design and deployment of digital tools, dashboards, and platforms that enable real-time visibility, self-service capabilities, and data-driven performance management
  • Establish intake and governance processes for digital and AI initiatives to reduce redundancy, accelerate value delivery, and scale enterprise adoption

Data Governance & Analytics

  • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making by partnering with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, governance, and accessibility across critical master data domains
  • Enable real-time business insights through standardized KPIs, success metrics, and governed reporting frameworks that drive fast, informed action across leadership levels

Cross-Functional Leadership & Change Management

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of direct and indirect resources across multiple functions, geographies, and organizational levels
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to executive leadership, translating complex operational challenges into clear strategies and actionable plans
  • Drive enterprise-wide change management to ensure adoption, sustainability, and cultural alignment with transformation initiatives

Working Capital & Financial Impact

  • Partnercross-functionallytoidentifyand execute initiatives that improve cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance
  • Deliver measurable P&L impact through cost reduction, efficiency gains, and revenue enablement programs with clear governance and tracking

Requirements

Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience., * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field

  • MBA strongly preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in operational transformation, process excellence, program management, or digital transformation within large, complex organizations
  • Proventrack recordof delivering $50M+ in measurable business impact through transformation initiatives
  • Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred)
  • Deepexpertisein building and scaling PMOs, Management Operating Systems, and governance frameworks
  • Experience leading AI/ML adoption, digital transformation, and advanced analytics initiatives in an enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams of 30+ people across multiple countries and business units
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in working capital optimization, P&L management, and ROI-based prioritization
  • Experience in medical devices, manufacturing, or regulated industries
  • Background in supply chain, procurement, or customer experience transformation
  • Experience with JIRA, SAP, Power BI, or equivalent enterprise platforms
  • Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and cloud-based data solutions
  • Track recordof participation in executive leadership development programs

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$184,800.00 - $277,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
