Job description
A client is seeking an Epic IT Project Manager. This role will be providing project management for multiple clinical modules/domains for a hospital implementation -specifically OpTime, ASAP, and Beaker AP along with non-Epic project management of general Peri-Operative (i.e., ORs, device integration, etc.) & non-Epic Lab applications (Cerner, Soft Bank). The following list outlines the key responsibilities tailored to these specific clinical areas:
Management of Domain Workstreams:
- Provide project management to drive and lead workstreams for the above-mentioned domains and applications
- Facilitate workstream meetings, document issues and risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage scope/change management
- Collaboratively develop and track workstream level project plans
Support General Life Cycle Project Activities:
- Testing & QA for workstreams
- Data conversion (as needed) for in-scope applications
- Support governance and stakeholder management
- Support go-live planning including command center planning and staffing, cutover planning and execution, etc.
Requirements
7+ years experience implementing Epic (modules and/or overall implementation) as a Project Manager Prior experience with converting acquired hospitals to Epic PMP preferred but not required Middle Tennessee resident/Local to Nashville preferred but not mandatory
