Job description

  • Monitor and maintain network performance, availability, and security, proactively addressing issues before they impact users.
  • Configure, manage, and update network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and load balancers.
  • Troubleshoot network incidents, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks, coordinating with vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Support network security measures including segmentation strategies, ACLs, firewall rules, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Document network configurations, diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures to support operational consistency.
  • Assist with capacity planning, infrastructure optimization projects, and technology recommendations to enhance network reliability.
  • Participate in IT projects involving network infrastructure components, including security assessments and incident response activities.
  • Stay current with emerging networking technologies, cloud networking solutions, and industry best practices.

Requirements

This role offers exposure to advanced network technologies and the opportunity to grow professionally through hands-on experience and mentorship., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration, including device configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation principles.
  • Experience with security tools, monitoring solutions, and vulnerability management processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with network documentation standards, configuration audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated interest in professional development, including pursuing network certifications and learning new technologies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
