SAP QM Consultant

An SAP QM Consultant is responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Quality Management solutions to ensure product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and procurement processes. Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to quality management processes
• Configure SAP QM modules, including:

• Quality Planning (Inspection Plans, Sampling Procedures)
• Quality Inspection (Incoming, In-Process, Final Inspection)
• Quality Notifications
• Audit Management

• Set up and manage master data such as:

• Inspection Characteristics
• Inspection Methods
• Quality Info Records

• Integrate SAP QM with other modules such as:

• MM (Materials Management) - procurement quality
• PP (Production Planning) - in-process inspections
• SD (Sales & Distribution) - customer returns and complaints

• Support integration with systems like SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC
• Define and configure quality workflows and business rules
• Monitor quality performance and generate reports
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide support
• Participate in testing (unit testing, integration testing, UAT)
• Prepare documentation and conduct end-user training

• Strong knowledge of SAP QM processes and configuration
• Hands-on experience with:

• Inspection lot processing
• Usage decision
• Quality notifications

• Understanding of quality standards and compliance (ISO, Six Sigma concepts)
• Integration knowledge with MM, PP, and SD modules
• Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps is an advantage, * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
• SAP QM certification (preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain industries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
