Job description

An SAP HCM Techno-Functional Consultant bridges the gap between business HR requirements and technical SAP solutions. This role involves configuring SAP HCM modules while also handling technical development (ABAP) to enhance and support HR processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements related to HR processes and translate them into SAP solutions
  • Configure and support SAP HCM modules such as:
  • Organizational Management (OM)
  • Personnel Administration (PA)
  • Time Management (TM)
  • Payroll (PY)
  • Develop and customize solutions using ABAP (reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces)
  • Work on payroll schemas, rules, and time evaluation
  • Integrate SAP HCM with other modules and systems like SAP S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors
  • Design and maintain interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, APIs)
  • Debug and troubleshoot functional and technical issues
  • Work with HR teams to improve system efficiency and user experience
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation
  • Support upgrades, patches, and system enhancements

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, TM, Payroll)
  • Hands-on experience in ABAP development
  • Experience in:
  • User exits, BADIs, enhancements
  • SmartForms / SAP Scripts / Adobe Forms
  • Reports and interface development
  • Understanding of payroll processes and schemas
  • Knowledge of HR business processes and compliance
  • Experience with SAP Fiori is an advantage, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, HR, or related field
  • SAP HCM certification (preferred)
  • Experience in global payroll or country-specific payroll (e.g., India payroll)
  • Exposure to cloud HR systems like SAP SuccessFactors
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
