Job description
The position will be based within the Grief Sensitive Healthcare Project and will work closely with project leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners . The role focuses on leading program outreach and impact efforts, designing and implementing digital and instructional learning resources , overseeing educational media production , and managing projects and partnerships that support dissemination and growth. This position integrates strategic planning with hands-on execution to ensure educational initiatives are high-quality, coordinated, and aligned with program goals ., 1. Provide leadership in the areas of technology and media enhanced teaching and learning. 2. Advise faculty and program directors on methods to use technology to enhance instruction. 3. Provide direction for and actively engage in the design, development, delivery and adoption of instructional technology products, pilots, services, and initiatives. 4. Create systematic project and design plans to facilitate the communication of instructional technology project needs to developers, multimedia producers, and other staff. 5. Develop strategies for classroom technology, and select, implement, and promote their adoption. 6. Administer the use of the School's learning management systems. 7. Promote and build School-wide community awareness of the range of available instructional technology tools, services and approaches. 8. Develop support models, policies, and procedures consistent with the goals of the School. 9. Evaluate outcomes and impacts of technology-enhanced learning initiatives through the design of metrics and other forms of assessment. 10. Maintain an advanced working fluency with state-of-the art technologies, current research on learning theory, and their applications to the broad range of School objectives. 11. As a project manager, supervise staff, student workers, and contractors assigned to projects. Regularly communicate project, status, resolve issues, and meet expectations for deliverables. 12. Develop and manage a budget for instructional technology support. 13. Serve as a senior member of the Yale-wide IT management team, contribute to strategic planning and discussions 14. Other projects and duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements

Expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles, particularly within heal t hcare , academic or clinical settings.

Advanced proficiency in multimedia production, including v i deo scripting, filming, editing, and visual storytelling 3.S trong ability to translate complex research and clinical content into accessible, engaging educational materials.

Familiarity with grief, bereavement, and trauma-informed care.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
1.Experience developing scalable digital learning infrastructures or learning product ecosystems.
