Peoplesoft Technical Consultant

Infosys is seeking a PeopleSoft Technical Lead with expertise in PeopleSoft modules and People Tools. The selected candidate will be responsible for addressing user issues, resolving technical problems, managing tickets and service requests, and performing necessary configuration updates. The role also involves interacting with customer process consultants and SMEs, conducting root cause analysis, and driving process improvements.

• At least 8 years of experience in Oracle Peoplesoft modules and People Tools
• Proven experience in issue resolution, root cause analysis, and recommending solutions to complex problems
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices and various business processes
• Issue resolution, root cause identification and analysis, recommend solution to complex issues.
• Expert in using people tools, SQL and other tools. Focusing on areas Payables, Receivables, Billing, General Ledger and Treasury.
• Previous experience with at least one full-life cycles PeopleSoft upgrades as a technical team member
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the technical upgrade of Peoplesoft software .
• Strong knowledge of PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, PeopleSoft debugging, tracing and other PeopleSoft development tools .
• Collaborate with other technical teams and vendors to ensure that the upgrade is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation and configuration guides, upgrade plans, testing strategies and user manuals.
