Job description
Our Client is in need of a temporary, project-based PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of PeopleSoft ERP systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for working across multiple functional areas to support system integrations, reporting, and workflow optimization while ensuring system performance and reliability. This role will partner with internal stakeholders and technical teams to support ongoing ERP initiatives and upgrades as part of a broader enterprise implementation effort. The successful candidate will work on the following time sensitive projects as a functional project team contributor:
- Supporting development, maintenance, and enhancement of PeopleSoft ERP systems
- Designing and implementing integrations with internal and external County systems
- Developing reports and queries to support data analytics and business needs
- Configuring and maintaining workflows to improve operational efficiency
- Troubleshooting system defects and performance issues, providing timely resolution
- Participating in system upgrades and enhancements
- Collaborating with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Creating and maintaining technical design and support documentation
- Supporting database design and procedure development within an Oracle environment
- Working within established change control methodologies to ensure system integrity
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting and developing PeopleSoft ERP systems
- Strong experience with system integrations across internal and external platforms
- Experience developing reports, queries, and data-driven solutions
- Hands-on experience with workflow configuration and maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to system defects and performance issues
- Experience participating in system upgrades and enhancement initiatives
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and business units
- Experience writing comprehensive technical design and support documentation
- Strong database design and development experience, specifically with Oracle databases
- Experience working within structured change control methodologies
- PeopleSoft tools experience is highly preferred
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development and systems analysis
- Additional related work experience may substitute for required education on a year-for-year basis
