Job description
The Manager, IAM will be responsible for overseeing the identity and access management process by implementing and maintaining controls for user access to data, systems and resources within the organization, while simultaneously supervising and leading the IAM team., Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Champion all aspects of the IAM program and roadmap.

Lead team of 5-10 associates such as AD administrators and security analysts

Manage the team of Information Security Analysts by establishing KPIs (key performance indicators) and defining business objectives.

Serve as the IAM subject matter expert, trusted advisor; provide advisory and consulting services as needed.

proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement change

Works with external customers on project work efforts and delivery commitments.

Partners with strategic vendors and manages relationship with key resources to ensure optimal service levels and works with procurement on contractual requirements.

Create and maintain RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).

Maintain the IAM tool.

Document all processes.

Focus on continuous improvement efforts and efficiencies by migrating processes from manual to automated.

Define SLAs (Service Level Agreement) for the IAM team.

Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to provide relevant coaching and feedback.

Train and mentor IAM team

Drives strategy for IAM

Other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- BA required; MBA, MIS, or other relevant post-graduate degree preferred.
- Certifications related to IAM or cybersecurity are a plus
- 3-5 years of leadership experience.
- 5-8+ years post-college work experience in information security
- Proven experience in Access Management functions.
- Experience in developing, communicating and presenting concepts to varying audiences - ideally using Visio or PowerBI
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in leading process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to write documentation.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Willing and able to acquire new skills.
- CIAM - Certified Identity and Access Manager or equivalent is a plus.
Supervisory Responsibility This position has supervisory responsibilities. You may have 4-6 direct reports in this roles including Sr. Security Architects, Security Analysts, AD administrators among others.
Work Environment and Physical Demands This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to lift and carry 40+ lbs. Ability to pull and terminate Cat6 cabling.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. The daily schedule may vary from 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm. Hours may vary or exceed 40 in any given week depending on the needs of the business. On call hours will apply and incumbent may be required to come into the office on short notice as needs arise.
