Job description
- Engage with HP's global and regional Pricing, Deal Management, Category (Product Management), and Finance teams to understand business needs, qualify requirements, and identify solution improvements across pricing, quoting, and commercial governance workflows.
- Architect adaptive pricing solutions (e.g., discounting logic, approval workflows, margin controls, price waterfalls) that support business objectives, improve deal velocity, and maintain compliance with HP policies.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across Pricing, Sales, Finance, and Product Categories; present solution designs, address leadership-level concerns, and support commercial negotiation strategies with data-driven insights.
- Optimize pricing systems (CPQ, revenue tools, internal pricing engines) in alignment with HP's global IT roadmap, ensuring scalability, automation, and alignment to HP pricing guardrails and go-to-market motions.
- Anticipate cross-tower dependencies (quoting, catalog, product configuration, finance integrations) and mitigate risks across upstream and downstream pricing data flows.
- Direct activities across pricing solution workstreams; collaborate with financial analysts, pricing managers, writers, and operations teams to consolidate pricing assumptions, pricing models, and commercial documentation.
- Support Development of transition and change-management plans for new pricing capabilities; contribute to solution reviews, governance checkpoints, and HP commercial policy alignment reviews.
- Support cost estimation, pricing model enhancements, and development of strategic pricing frameworks used by deal teams globally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline; or comparable work experience in pricing architecture or deal management.
- Typically 7-10 years of experience, ideally in pricing, deal management, revenue operations, CPQ architecture, business process architecture, commercial governance, or technical sales within a global enterprise.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $140,650 to $207,450 USD
annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional
