Application Security Specialist - INTL

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Application Security Specialist to sit internationally with one of their financial trading platform clients. This person will serve as an Application Security Subject Matter Expert, supporting security activities across the SDLC with a hands-on and collaborative approach. Day to day work will include conducting and coordinating penetration testing (both hands-on and via external vendors), reviewing and analyzing results, and partnering closely with the development teams to drive remediation efforts. 35% of the role will focus on penetration testing, 40% on secure code review, and the remaining time on the broader program support, including vendor coordination, reporting, and ongoing security initiatives. The role requires strong communication skills to translate technical rik into actionable guidance for developers and leadership, while supporting cloud security remediation efforts within AWS environments.
