IT Manager - Charlotte Area job in Charlotte

• Oversee the manufacturing plant's IT infrastructure and systems.
• Manage and maintain the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system specific to production.
• Ensure the security and integrity of operational technology (OT) and data.
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades and new technology implementations for the factory floor.
• Provide technical support and training to plant personnel.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to support manufacturing operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and their implementation/management in a manufacturing context.
• Strong understanding of operational technology (OT) systems, including SCADA, MES, and industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT infrastructure, network security, and data integrity in a production-critical environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their impact on IT infrastructure.
• Certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL) or project management (e.g., PMP).
