Job description
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services for computer systems, peripherals, and related software and hardware. This role ensures the timely resolution of technical issues to support daily business operations., * Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and peripheral devices
- Diagnose and resolve system and network issues in a timely manner
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems
- Document issues, resolutions, and system changes as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the IT Manager
Requirements
- Availability to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to stand, reach, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening, patience, and empathy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to systematically analyze and resolve technical issues under time constraints
Preferred Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with networking, hardware setup, and repair
- Familiarity with Microsoft Server products and local/wide area networks
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
