Job description
- Revenue Generation: Serve as a key individual contributor to firm-wide revenue growth through direct business development and strategic account acquisition.
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Establish sales targets, lead generation protocols, and account development strategies rooted in long-term industry relationships.
- Subcontracting Strategy: Lead the development and execution of subcontracting and employee retention strategies to ensure stable, long-term project delivery.
- Executive Collaboration: Partner with the executive team to align sales and recruitment functions, ensuring company standards for markups, spreads, and headcount are met.
- The "Sales Waterfall": Analyze the sales pipeline to balance contract completions with new contract generation, ensuring consistent upward growth.
- Market Intelligence: Share deep industry knowledge (e.g., "follow the money" trends, RFP insights, and past performance data) to mentor the team and sharpen targeted sales efforts.
- Proposal & Pricing: Oversee proposal development and pricing strategies to maximize win rates and maintain competitive positioning.
- Industry Presence: Represent PRISM at key networking and industry engagements to build strategic value with government entities and prime partners.
Requirements
- Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in government contracting or subcontracting with a history of hitting aggressive revenue targets.
- Relationship Driven: Existing network of relationships within government agencies and/or large prime contractors.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to translate complex RFPs and industry trends into actionable sales strategies.
- Leadership: Experience fostering a results-oriented culture focused on collaboration and high employee engagement.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of government pricing models, SOWs, and the federal procurement lifecycle.
- Bachelors Degree, * Do you have at least 5 years of experience navigating the public sector landscape, with a focus on identifying government contract opportunities and securing awards through strategic subcontractor partnerships?
- Do you have at least 5 years exceeding sales quotas and successfully selling complex IT consulting, project-based services, and staffing solutions (Staff Augmentation, MSA, SOW, and Permanent Direct Placements)
Experience:
- B2B SALES: 5 years (Preferred)
- Staff augmentation: 5 years (Required)
- Selling Statement of work (SOW): 5 years (Required)

PRISM is seeking a strategic, results-driven VP of Government Services to lead the growth of our federal subcontracting portfolio. This is a dual-impact role combining high-level individual contribution with executive leadership. You will be responsible for expanding our footprint within government entities, optimizing our sales waterfall, and fostering strategic partnerships that drive year-over-year revenue growth. This position can be remote, or hybrid remote. Must be willing to come onsite for Monthly/Quarterly meetings in Reston, VA.
