Job description

As a Staff Network Engineer, you will be tasked with providing architecture, management, and enhancements to our company's global network infrastructure, ensuring highly secure, resilient, and performant connectivity while collaborating with our global IT and security teams.

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, maintaining, and improving our network backbone, ensuring seamless global operations, and driving network automation and security.   • This includes designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting:
  • Core routing and switching equipment
  • Next-Generation firewalls
  • Enterprise wireless solutions

  • Advanced network monitoring applications

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience in network engineering, architecture, and support for complex, multi-site enterprise infrastructures.
  • Due to Federal Government contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • FedRamp Staff may be subject to customer or third-party background checks, if required by their role at SentinelOne.
  • A great team player who can also work independently with a proactive, architectural approach to problem-solving.
  • Service-oriented personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Deep expertise in deploying and maintaining enterprise networking equipment and Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, or similar).
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), complex switching, and site-to-site VPN/IPsec architectures.
  • Experience designing and managing Enterprise Access Point solutions and wireless LAN controllers in multi-site environments.
  • Extensive experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and SASE services (such as Zscaler, Prisma Access, or similar).
  • Proficiency with network monitoring and visibility tools (such as Zabbix, Grafana, SolarWinds, or PRTG).
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP VPCs, Transit Gateways) and network virtualization (e.g., VMware NSX).
  • Solid understanding of network security principles, PKI, and secure access protocols.
  • Advantageous: Experience with Network Automation and Infrastructure as Code (Python, Ansible, Terraform, or API scripting).
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and continuously improve network resilience.
