Job description
Building Systems from the Ground Up: You'll be responsible for setting up, deploying, configuring and supporting servers, cloud, and workstation-based environments.

Managing & Securing the M365 Ecosystem: You'll configure, deploy, migrate and support Microsoft 365 tenants, handling everything from security hardening to user workflows.

Reliable Networking & Connectivity: You'll design, deploy and support the infrastructure that keeps our clients running; Firewalls and Switches: VLANs, VPNs, ZTNA and everything in-between.

Participating and running Technical Projects: From office moves, server deployments, network refreshes, and full-scale cloud migrations, you'll be part of the team executing our projects while making sure every detail aligns with our internal SOPs and quality benchmarks.

Solving Escalated problems: As an Engineer, you're the go-to for escalated problems that seem to be a bit more complicated than they should be. You'll utilize your technical experience and expertise to troubleshoot and solve problems for stable solutions.

Technical Responsibilities of a Mid-Level Systems Engineer:
Understanding the logic (the how and why) behind each setup, deployment and on-going service and support is key to each of the concepts below. It's not just about following standards and defaults; it's about understanding why each of those steps are in place. At Cycrest, when things break, we don't perform band-aid fixes; we implement a permanent solution that fits within our standards., $60,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications
