Application Developer

• Proficiency developing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core).

• Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and responsive UI design.

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server , including SQL queries, schema design, and data management.

• Ability to troubleshoot issues across the full application stack (front-end, backend, database).

• Experience maintaining production systems and supporting multiple concurrent projects.

• Ability to interpret customer or stakeholder requirements and translate them into technical solutions .

• Solid understanding of software design principles , secure coding practices, and application architecture.

• Experience with version control and software deployment workflows.

• Familiarity with IIS or similar web hosting platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the required level.

• Must be able to work 100% on-site in Huntsville, Alabama.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for the Application Developer:

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience.

• Experience supporting government, defense, engineering, aviation , or other highly regulated environments.

• Background in modernizing legacy applications into modern web-based platforms.

• Knowledge of Visual Basic / VB.NET .

• Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery , or other modern UI frameworks.

• Experience building or integrating SharePoint solutions.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reporting.

• Exposure to cloud platforms , automation tools, or digital transformation technologies.

• Experience developing technical training , documentation, or user-adoption materials.

• Experience presenting technical concepts to executive leadership or cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of cybersecurity controls , access management, and compliance requirements.

• Experience leading small projects or functioning as the sole developer for features or applications.
