Job Title: Telecommunications Network Engineer * Top Secret Security Clearance Required ** 3rd Shift, The selected engineer will provide technical expertise in both wired and wireless WAN engineering, supporting current operations as well as emerging technologies. Key responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of network system baselines throughout the lifecycle by managing and implementing updates across development, deployment, operations, and maintenance activities.
This role is critical to sustaining and modernizing DLA's enterprise WAN environment, ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and mission-ready network services in support of agency operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of network operations experience; higher-level education or relevant military service may be substituted for the required experience.
- Demonstrated experience in telecommunications network design and management.
- Experience in the analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and network management systems supporting integrated voice and data services
- Experience performing or supporting the development, engineering, integration, interfacing, and testing of complex hardware and software systems.
Certification & Clearance Requirements:
Certification Requirements: A minimum of two (2), one from each of the lists below:
- IA Level: IAT-II: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
- CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Top Secret
