Job description
People and Culture Workday Specialist needed to join a growing non-profit organization supporting People Operations and HR technology initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to serve as a key resource for Workday administration, system optimization, reporting, and process improvement. The position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, experience supporting HR systems, and the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
Workday Specialist Responsibilities Include:

Administer and configure Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management

Maintain system integrity through audits, testing, troubleshooting, and regular updates

Configure security roles, permissions, and business processes

Build and optimize workflows, calculated fields, and system configurations

Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday Report Writer

Support data loads, mass updates, and integrations with third-party systems

Provide end-user support, training materials, and documentation

Partner with HR and internal stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities
Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience

3+ years of Workday HCM administration and configuration experience

Strong knowledge of Workday business processes, security, reporting, and data management

Advanced proficiency with Workday Report Writer and calculated fields

Experience with EIBs, integrations, and system testing preferred

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
