Lead Data Scientist

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in advanced analytics and AI, paired with strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance engagement, satisfaction, and operational performance. What You'll Do

• Analyze complex, large-scale datasets to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities to improve customer experience
• Design and apply predictive and prescriptive models, experimentation frameworks, and data visualizations to inform decision-making
• Leverage machine learning, NLP, LLMs, and conversational analytics to generate actionable insights
• Partner cross-functionally with product, operations, marketing, and customer experience teams to co-create and implement solutions
• Translate analytical insights into clear business cases and measurable KPIs
• Track impact and support continuous optimization of customer-facing initiatives
• Communicate findings through compelling storytelling tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Operate effectively in a matrixed environment, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder needs

• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, decision science, or applied AI/ML
• 5+ years of experience with advanced modeling techniques such as predictive analytics, NLP, LLMs, reinforcement learning, causal inference, or experimentation
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience managing end-to-end analytical projects
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical rigor and advanced analytical techniques to large datasets
• Experience translating insights into actionable strategies and business cases
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights clearly and persuasively
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
• Comfort operating in a matrixed organizational environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
• Familiarity with modern data platforms and analytics engineering (e.g., cloud data warehouses)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI, or conversational AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, RAG)
• Background supporting customer engagement or customer experience optimization initiatives
• Prior experience in regulated or highly complex industries is a plus

Education

• Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
