Job description
The Manufacturing Execution Systems Analyst is responsible for the implementation, support, configuration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the MES System. This role acts as a liaison between Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and IT to ensure accurate data capture, system reliability, and alignment with production and compliance requirements.
General Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of the MES, ensuring system availability, accuracy, and performance
- Configure and maintain MES workflows, routings, and production parameters
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Materials to gather system requirements and translate them into MES solutions
- Troubleshoot MES issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Support system integrations with ERP, PLCs, and other manufacturing systems
- Create and maintain MES documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and system configurations
- Support data integrity, traceability, and electronic batch records where applicable
- Develop and deliver MES reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support manufacturing performance
- Train end users and provide ongoing system support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-5 years experience supporting or implementing MES solutions
- Experience with MES platforms such as Solidat, Rockwell, * Knowledge of ERP Systems
- Familiarity with validation, change control, and data integrity principles
- Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
