Systems Test Analyst

Contract to hire opportunity available for a System Test Analyst This role centers on hands-on functional and system testing, with additional responsibilities in development support and business analysis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in validating system calculations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the delivery of high-quality solutions., * Support product configuration, development, and end-to-end system testing within a web-based platform

• Analyze requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and validation strategies
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Validate system outputs using SQL queries and Excel-based calculations
• Gather and document business and technical requirements, including user stories
• Collaborate with development teams during 2-week agile sprints using Jira
• Ensure system changes meet performance, scalability, and business requirements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and overall system quality

• 2-3 years of combined experience in development, analysis, and hands-on testing
• At least 1+ year of development experience (Java, .NET, SQL, XML, JSON, or similar)
• 1+ year of experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and agile support
• 1+ year of dedicated testing experience (test planning, execution, defect tracking)
• Strong SQL skills (required) for validation and data analysis
• Experience using Excel to build and verify calculation logic
• Familiarity with Jira and agile workflows

The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $40.00 - $45.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
