Job description
A client is seeking several AI Engineers for a position that can sit remotely out of Pennsylvania. These engineers will join a team that support storm outage operations for a major utility customer. This team's responsible for reducing noise, delay, and manual effort during storms. Examples of this work include auto-filtering advanced meter infrastructure (AMI) events before they hit Outage Management System (OMS), detecting Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) / OMS degradation early, auto-generating leadership updates when systems fail and building logic around 95% restoration pivots. The team is looking at hiring AI Engineers to advise their group where they can incorporate agents in their ecosystem to help prioritization, pattern detection, recommendations and summarizations of work. On a daily basis they will create bots and use automation, scripting and applied AI to remove manual work, increase system trust and help operations make faster, more informed decisions.
Requirements
3+ years of experience building and integrating AI agents and bots into workspace - currently using Copilot
- Scripting experience using Python to automate tasks
- Past experience guiding and leading team in AI journey
- Able to travel to PA, RI and KY - 10% travel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Utility experience - past experience solving utility-based problems
