Job description
An Insight Global client is seeking a junior to mid?level SAP IBP Supply Planning Analyst / Specialist to support the supply chain team. This is a hands?on techno?functional role where the selected candidate will spend most of their time working directly in SAP IBP to support supply planning, optimization, and configuration, ensuring accurate and meaningful planning outputs. The ideal candidate understands how planning numbers flow through IBP and is able to clearly explain planning logic, constraints, and outcomes to business users. The role includes working with auto?based planning logic, supply optimization, and addressing IBP functional gaps by translating business needs into IBP functional requirements. The candidate will work with planning parameters, heuristics, optimizer settings, and exception handling as part of ongoing support and project delivery. Approximately 20% of the role involves working directly with business and planning stakeholders to understand problems, gaps, and bottlenecks and translating those needs into clear IBP planning requirements, while the remaining time is focused on hands?on IBP configuration and optimization work. This is an opportunity to join the team for IBP implementation and support both steady?state operations and new projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team post IBP implementation to help support both operations and projects.

- Experience working directly with business stakeholders beyond system configuration
- Strong communication skills and problem?solving ability
