IT Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Your expertise will help optimize our technology environment, enhance user experience, and ensure security protocols are rigorously followed. • Monitor system performance and ensure security and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and upgrade systems and applications
• Support cloud services, backups, and disaster recovery processes
• Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards
• Collaborating with team members on IT projects and system improvements
• Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations

• Proven experience in providing IT support with a strong focus on desktop support, software troubleshooting, and hardware management
• Solid understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN configuration, firewall security measures, and network administration
• Proficiency in managing operating systems such as Windows (including Microsoft Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory management, Group Policy configuration (GPO), SCCM deployment strategies, and BMC Remedy or similar ticketing systems
• Familiarity with modern security practices involving firewalls, Meraki networking devices, DNS security measures, and VPNs to protect organizational data assets
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues quickly and accurately
• Communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and assist non-technical users with patience and clarity
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service quality
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Cisco certifications are preferred but not mandatory
