Job description
Overview Synertex is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to support enterprise IT infrastructure, including hybrid cloud systems, identity management, and Microsoft 365 environments. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra ID environments
- Support identity and access management solutions
- Manage system integrations across hybrid cloud environments
- Ensure system performance, security, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
- Support modernization and system optimization initiatives
Requirements

6+ years of IT systems engineering experience

Strong experience with:
-
Microsoft 365 administration
-
Entra ID (Azure AD)
-
Hybrid cloud environments
Experience supporting federal IT systems
One of the following certifications: Microsoft MCSE / Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) / Azure Solutions Architect / VMware VCP (active)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Desired Qualifications
- Cisco networking or firewall experience
- Virtualization experience (VMware, etc.)
- Experience with cloud migration or modernization efforts
- Preferred certifications: Security+; CCNA; RHCE; ITIL v4
