Software Engineer

We are seeking a mid- to senior-level Software Engineer to develop and maintain Linux-based software systems that integrate closely with hardware. This role involves C/C++ development, debugging, customer interaction, and occasional travel., * Develop, maintain, and debug C/C++ software applications

• Support new and existing software products and modules
• Interface with hardware including cameras, sensors, and linear stages
• Create technical documentation and customer-facing briefings
• Collaborate with internal teams and support customer deployments (<10% travel)

• 5-10 years of relevant experience (degree counts toward experience)
• Strong C/C++ and debugging skills
• Experience with Linux (CLI) and Git
• Experience with low-level hardware communication
• Familiarity with FPGA and/or GPU programming (CUDA preferred)
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred

• BS or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Experience with computer vision, image processing, DSP, or control systems
• Scripting experience (e.g., Julia), * Software Engineering: 5 years (Preferred)
• C/C++: 5 years (Required)
• Linux: 5 years (Preferred)
• Low Level Hardware: 5 years (Preferred)
