Job description
Testing Strategy, Governance & Standards
- Lead QA strategy and execution for enterprise software initiatives across domains (Finance, Supply Chain, Insurance, B2B Commerce, etc.).
- Establish and maintain testing frameworks, standards, methodologies, and best practices across IT.
- Define and enhance test governance, templates, quality gates, and KPIs (defect leakage, coverage, traceability, etc.).
- Standardize SIT, UAT, regression, performance, and integration testing processes across platforms.
Enterprise Test Planning & Execution
- Lead test planning, test case design, test data strategy, and endtoend execution for complex business and system processes.
- Coordinate testing efforts across multiple business units, CoEs, and external partners.
- Oversee daily test progress, risk management, defect triage, and root-cause analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with PMO/ERP/HRIS/CRM/Web Platforms, etc. teams, functional SMEs, and development teams to ensure alignment on testing scope and readiness.
- Facilitate collaboration across various functional teams to validate end-to-end workflows and integrated processes.
- Communicate testing status, risks, and mitigation plans with clarity and confidence to executive stakeholders.
Hands-On Testing Leadership & Controls Oversight

Perform hands-on activities including test script writing, scenario design, traceability mapping, and test execution as needed for critical programs.

Validate system and business process changes to ensure they are robust, scalable, and production ready.

Mentor and influence a robust testing competency across internal staff, contractors, and partner resources.

Define roles and responsibilities within the Testing CoE; coach team members on methodology, tools, and QA discipline.

Champion a culture of quality-first mindset, continuous improvement, and user-centric delivery.

Ensure user confidence through welldesigned UAT cycles adhering to PMO stage-gate methodology, gate exit criteria & related metrics, training alignment, and go-live readiness activities.

Drive improvements that elevate user satisfaction, reduce defects in production, and strengthen business trust in IT delivery.
Tooling & Automation
- Support evaluation and adoption of testing tools such as ServiceNow Test Management & Dashboards, Azure DevOps, Selenium, Oracle Cloud Test Automation, Workday Test Framework, and others.
- Introduce scalable automation strategies to accelerate regression cycles and minimize manual effort.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines hands-on testing proficiency with strategic leadership, ensuring solution quality, business process integrity, seamless cross-functional collaboration, and an exceptional user experience., * 10+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Testing Leadership, or Business Analysis.
- Proven expertise leading testing across ERP, Workday, Salesforce, APIs, and large-scale enterprise applications.
- Strong command of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and hybrid delivery models in matrixed environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex integration testing across multi-system landscapes.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional business teams, PMO, and external implementation partners.
- Hands-on skills in test case creation, test management tools, and defect management processes.
Preferred
- Experience with Oracle EBS/Oracle Cloud ERP, Workday HCM/Finance, Salesforce Clouds, and modern integration tools.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and performance/load testing tools.
- Background working in a Testing CoE model or helping stand up QA governance functions.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, PMP, or equivalent.

Benefits & conditions
flex time, 401(k), Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $165,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
