Backend Modernization Engineer III

• Design application code and implement technical solutions across environments to address business needs.
• Write backend services and applications to solve analytical and transactional problems.
• Execute all phases of software engineering, including requirements analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Design and implement product features, reusable components, frameworks, and libraries in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
• Partner with strategic customers to containerize applications, leveraging containerization methodologies and best practices.
• Develop and document best practices for containerizing and modernizing diverse application platforms.
• Code, test, release, and support backend services and data integrations.
• Design software solutions to solve complex engineering problems.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for scalable, reliable delivery.

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, AWS, containers, and microservices and a proven ability to design, build, containerize, and modernize backend services with autonomy., * Technical degree or equivalent related work experience.

• Proficiency in Java with strong experience in Spring and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure-focused applications and platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Experience building and supporting services on AWS.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality solutions end to end.
• Knowledge of Backbase APIs.
