Job description
Perform tests and assist in the analysis of materials, processes, and equipment Participate in test development and execution Assist in routine failure analysis of parts and processes; collect and analyze data to identify failure mechanisms Document findings and support reporting activities Assist in developing and revising technical documents and requirements Participate in the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technologies, and processes to ensure conformance and producibility Support continuous improvement efforts through participation in design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technologies
Requirements
Typically requires an Associate degree with 1+ years of related experience Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered (e.g., Bachelor s degree with relevant experience) Comfortable using computers and standard software tools Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, or testing methodologies preferred Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)., Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
