Job description
Assist in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods and minimizing risk Develop simple test procedures, instrumentation setups, and configurations Design component and sub-assembly level hardware or software and verify designs using analytical tools Coordinate with manufacturing for test hardware assembly and integration Document engineering solutions, designs, and test activities Develop and present technical design reviews Create and execute test plans and procedures Review test data for accuracy, quality, and fidelity prior to delivery Identify off-nominal data and escalate to senior engineers Prepare test reports and support development of test debrief materials Support proposal and estimate development activities Collaborate cross-functionally to support program/project plans Apply lessons learned to improve test methods and processes
Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent 2+ years of experience in electrical design Knowledge of drafting tools such as MS Visio and Zuken Understanding of instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition systems Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications: Master s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI) Experience with wire design and installation Ability to analyze measurement data Familiarity with PLCs and closed-loop control systems Basic knowledge of hydraulics Systems engineering exposure Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments (NI) hardware, Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
