Kforce has a client in Brunswick, GA that is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for an onsite, contract to hire role. Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to support and modernize enterprise infrastructure environments within a healthcare setting. This role requires a hands-on technical professional with strong problem-solving abilities, experience stabilizing complex environments, and the confidence to operate independently without heavy oversight. The selected individual will play a key role in remediation, optimization, and ongoing platform improvements following years of inconsistent configuration standards.
- Senior-level infrastructure or cloud engineering experience
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Nutanix, VMware, and enterprise virtualization platforms
- Experience managing Active Directory and Group Policy in large environments
- Familiarity with Azure and hybrid cloud architectures
- Proven ability to remediate environments affected by years of suboptimal practices
- Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Healthcare or hospital IT experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working onsite initially to align closely with internal stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
