Systems Administrator

Role Overview The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and securing IT infrastructure, managing backups, and disaster recovery, and optimizing cloud and on-premise environments. This role involves working with Azure and Microsoft Active Directory, managing automation tools, and ensuring high availability of critical systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in system maintenance, security policies, and infrastructure management while supporting the firm's DevOps initiatives. Key Responsibilities Azure & Microsoft Active Directory Administration Manage Azure AD, Group Policy, and Identity & Access Management (IAM). Maintain and optimize Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, and Security System & Infrastructure Maintenance Administer Windows and Linux servers, ensuring system health and Oversee patch management and compliance for all Implement and monitor system security measures to protect against Backup & Disaster Recovery Manage and test backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity Ensure high availability and rapid recovery of critical Automation & Process Optimization Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or similar tools. Assist in implementing Power Automate and Logic Apps for workflow Collaboration & Support Work closely with the DevOps Manager to align infrastructure needs with automation and cloud initiatives. Support end-users and internal teams with system-related Coordinate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and vendors for issue resolution and upgrades. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Cloud Infrastructure, or IT Strong knowledge of Azure Infrastructure (Azure AD, Virtual Machines, Networking, IAM, Security Policies).
