The IT Application Specialist serves as a dual-focused technical lead, overseeing both the broad optimization of the Workday ERP ecosystem and the specific administration of workforce management systems. This role is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Time Tracking (QGenda) to ensure alignment with Telecare's operational and clinical staffing models. The Specialist bridges the gap between HR, Finance, and IT, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and peak performance of the organization's software portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Three plus (3+) years of experience supporting Workday HCM and/or Workday ERP, or comparable enterprise HRIS / ERP platforms, in a production environment.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills for workforce, payroll, and labor reporting.
- Experience configuring system integrations using APIs, EIBs, or middleware.
- Basic networking and hardware troubleshooting skills for distributed time clock devices.
- Deep understanding of the application lifecycle, including installing, patching, and updating software.
- Cloud first mentality with experience with SaaS applications in supporting the lifecycle management.
- Must have experience with Workday payroll and QGenda time tracking.
- Deep understanding of enterprise applications and application lifecycle management.
- Strong diagnostic abilities to review, troubleshoot, and fix application errors.
Preferred:
- Workday HCM and/or ERP configuration or certification experience.
- Experience supporting Workday Recruiting, onboarding automation, and payroll-to-finance data flows.
- Familiarity with workforce and financial analytics tools.
- Experience supporting cloud-hosted enterprise platforms (Azure-aligned environments preferred).
- Experience in healthcare or human services with 24/7 staffing models, shift differentials, and on-call scenarios.
- Experience with QGenda Time Clocks.

Full-Time | DAYS | Shifts: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Days: Monday - Friday
Expected starting wage range is $88,090.33 - $108,823.48. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.
