HRIS Analyst

This role is an execution-focused cloud operations position responsible for administering and supporting the company's Microsoft cloud platforms and supporting hybrid integrations. Approximately 60-70% of effort is cloud-focused, with 30-40% supporting required on-prem infrastructure.

The Cloud and Systems Administrator does not own architecture or strategy, but executes approved designs, standards, and change plans. The role escalates architectural, capacity, and security design decisions to senior engineers.

Core Responsibilities

Cloud Operations

• Operate Azure and Microsoft 365 services following established standards

• Execute provisioning, patching, monitoring, and incident response tasks

• Maintain identity and access configurations under defined policies

Hybrid Operations

• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid identity services

• Support VMware, storage, and backup platforms

• Execute scheduled maintenance and remediation tasks

Reliability and Security Execution

• Monitor backups, alerts, and system health

• Participate in disaster recovery testing and documentation

• Enforce security baselines and access controls

Operational Excellence

• Resolve assigned tickets within SLA

• Maintain accurate documentation and SOPs

• Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities

Decision-Making Authority

Can Independently:

• Execute standard cloud and system administration tasks

• Resolve routine incidents and operational issues

• Perform changes within approved change windows and procedures
