Job description

The Enterprise Applications Senior IT Project Manager role directly supports the implementation of complex projects, information technology, and/or major IT transformation across the organization. This role will partner with Enterprise Applications leaders, senior functional leaders, and other key stakeholders to successfully define and plan for large/ complex deployments. This role will be responsible for the prioritization, definition, planning, scoping, coordination, and final implementation of specific deployments and projects. The Enterprise Applications Senior IT Project Manager will work closely with the Enterprise Applications Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure adherence with the company's standard Goal Deployment Process (GDP) and Project Management Methodology (PDP)., * Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating complex deployments from inception to completion. The Enterprise Applications Senior IT Program Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of the project

  • Responsible and accountable for validating project scope, timeline, and budget

  • Manages the day-to-day project execution tasks through all project phases from Accelerated Business Readiness (ABR) through Stabilization, including test cycle management and defect resolution management

  • Responsible for the overall coordination of all activities required for a technology deployment, including but not limited to: o Legacy integration, connectivity, and resource alignment o New technology & Legacy instance availability o Program management and resource alignment for related projects, including SBU and other enterprise systems

  • Adhere to and maintain project management standards, tools, and routines, including but not limited to: o Structuring of programs and projects o Resourcing/forecasting o Governance and control o Project planning and reporting o Risk and issue mitigation o Business benefit realization o Coordination of internal readiness assessment reviews with internal audit

  • Ensures the proper risk disciplines are in place to deliver the best outcomes for our customers, clients, and shareholders

  • Ability to mobilize the team to govern program work streams to achieve all milestones and deliverables on target

  • Escalates to sponsors and Enterprise Applications PMO issues and risks that are beyond his/her control

  • Driving consensus and resolving conflicts quickly

  • Ability to facilitate productive meetings at the senior leadership level

  • Develops, socializes, and communicates a detailed project plan with the project team and stakeholders

  • Collaborative, team player with the ability to connect across groups with proven ability to influence key stakeholders

  • Manage and implement program changes and interventions as needed to ensure achievement of both program deliverables and business outcomes; ensure the business case is fully achieved as planned

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Business Management, MIS, or equivalent
  • 5-7 years as project manager in IT/financial services
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Positive track record of delivering complex projects & initiatives
  • Expert with the MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

Qualifications desired:

  • Management consulting background in IT
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques

Pay Range*: $85.00 - $89.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
