Job description
As an Application Administrator, you will be the backbone of our system''s reliability. You'll handle everything from high-level security configurations and user onboarding to deep-dive root cause analysis and technical support. You aren''t just "maintaining" systems-you're optimizing them through scripting and automation., * System Management: Perform installations, patching, and regular monitoring to ensure 24/7 application health.
- Identity & Access: Manage user onboarding/offboarding and implement robust security configurations.
- Automation: Utilize scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency within a Linux OS environment.
- Technical Support: Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, resolving support tickets, and conducting root cause analysis for complex issues.
- Vendor Liaison: Manage and escalate Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and interact with customer SME's to resolve process bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Analytical Prowess: Proven ability in issue resolution, root cause identification, and designing solutions for complex technical hurdles.
- Technical Foundation: Solid understanding of software engineering practices and various business processes.
- Vendor Management: Experience navigating and managing Oracle SRs.
Bonus Points (Preferred)
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS or Peoplesoft applications.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to translate technical jargon for business stakeholders.
- Middleware: Exposure to middleware technologies and a strong desire to work closely with customer teams.
