Job description

  • Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administer and maintain enterprise IT systems across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and identity/access management systems
  • Design and implement system architecture improvements for performance and security
  • Perform system monitoring, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
  • Develop and enforce configuration baselines aligned with security best practices
  • Support implementation of compliance requirements such as NIST and FISMA
  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity
  • Implement and support disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and operational standards
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure system integration

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) years of systems engineering experience

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and identity management (Active Directory/Entra ID)

  • Hands-on experience with server administration across Windows and Linux environments

  • Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware

  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals including LAN, VPN, and hybrid cloud connectivity

  • Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks such as NIST and FISMA

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system issues

  • Public Trust eligibility required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

  • MCSE or equivalent certification

  • Experience implementing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
