Job description
- Design, configure, and support enterprise managed file transfer solutions including IBM Sterling and Axway platforms.
- Support Enterprise File Transfer Delivery Service (EFeDS) for customer onboarding, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, business analysts, and service managers to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot file transfer systems across Unix and Windows environments.
- Manage and support IBM Sterling components including File Gateway, Control Center, and Secure Proxy.
- Administer Axway Secure Transport and ensure system stability and performance.
- Execute secure file transfer processes using SFTP, FTP, TLS, and SHA-2 protocols.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including design documents, specifications, and roadmaps.
- Coordinate network and server build activities and support integration with enterprise systems.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and escalate risks appropriately.
- Work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment to deliver scalable and secure integration solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 10 years of engineering experience including design and build of technical solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managed file transfer technologies.
- Experience implementing and testing file transfer solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills., * Expertise in IBM Sterling File Gateway, Control Center, and Secure Proxy administration.
- Experience with Axway Secure Transport configuration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Connect:Direct file transfer systems.
- Proficiency in SFTP, FTP protocols, and security standards (TLS, SHA-2).
- Understanding of enterprise security architecture and secure file transfer design.
- Experience working on Unix and Windows platforms.
- Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB), MQ, or MuleSoft.
- Knowledge of mainframe file exchange processes.
- Experience managing custom or homegrown file transfer systems.
- Familiarity with Federal Reserve systems or financial domain applications.
- Exposure to enterprise integration and multiple technology platforms.
