Job description

You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Line-of-Business, supporting Automated Electronic Test Equipment and Test Software activities in Lufkin, TX. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.

What You Will Be Doing

As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI®, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing.

Your responsibilities will include:

*Upgrading and Supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed

  • Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues

  • Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting

Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated ATE Test Engineer to join our team. If you have a strong background in Electrical, Computer, or Computer Science Engineering, we encourage you to apply. This position offers the opportunity to work on PAC3 and to make a meaningful impact on our organization., MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance., * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and 5+ years of professional experience.

  • Experience Supporting Electronics Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

  • Experience Supporting Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand

  • Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products

  • Active Secret Clearance

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
