Test Analyst

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and collaborative professional to join their team as a Functional Tester / Analyst . In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of an end-to-end digital solution that supports both field technicians and back-office teams working on vital infrastructure assets.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary product team combining business experts, analysts, developers, and project managers. Together, you will help safeguard operational continuity and improve how inspection and maintenance activities are planned, executed, and monitored across the asset landscape in the energy market. What you will be doing:

• Review functional and technical analysis documents to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
• Prepare, organise, and execute functional and end-to-end test plans in close collaboration with project managers and business stakeholders.
• Design and run manual test scenarios while identifying opportunities to support test automation by development teams.
• Take ownership of non-functional testing, exception flows, and regression testing activities.
• Support the definition of clear acceptance criteria for user acceptance testing together with key users.
• Act as the single point of contact for functional and end-to-end testing after development cycles.
• Help define and challenge the overall test strategy, balancing quality, risk coverage, and delivery timelines.
• Gradually deepen your understanding of the business domain to contribute to impact analysis and functional design discussions.

• Experience in a functional testing or functional analysis role within complex digital environments.
• Exposure to the energy, utilities, or asset management domain is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into clear test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, UML modelling tools, and documentation platforms like Confluence or Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g. ISTQB, risk-based testing), with certification considered an asset.
• Comfort working with technologies and formats such as UML, XML, JSON, and SQL.
• Fluent communication skills in Dutch and French, with a good working knowledge of English.
