AWS Solution Architect

You'll design and deliver AWS-based architectures, working closely with engineering teams and customers to build scalable, secure, and resilient solutions. The focus is firmly on cloud-native architecture, rather than pure migration work., * Design end-to-end AWS architectures aligned to customer needs

• Define scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions using core AWS services
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation
• Provide architectural guidance across networking, security, and platform design
• Contribute to best practices, standards, and reusable patterns

• Strong experience designing solutions in AWS
• Background in platform engineering or cloud-focused software engineering
• Solid understanding of AWS networking and security services (e.g. VPC, IAM, etc.)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture
• Comfortable working in complex, stakeholder-heavy environments

Experience Level

• Candidates at mid-senior level considered (roughly GG11-GG13 equivalent)
• End-to-end migration experience not essential-early-stage involvement or purely cloud-native experience is equally valid

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated or secure environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Exposure to containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)

• £70,000 - £90,000 base salary
